Neuropathy is traditionally defined by neuropathic (tingling, numbness, burning, shooting) pain, but there are neurologic and non-neurologic conditions where objective findings of small fiber neuropathy are highly prevalent despite the pain being absent or minimal. I outline comprehensive treatment options for small fiber neuropathy with both evidence-based and emerging therapies in the Table. 🧠

At the Allison Inquiry, Julie Woods testified about the sense of abandonment many COVID-19 vaccine-injured Canadians feel after years without answers, diagnoses, or treatment plans.
She also raised concerns about injured individuals being presented with Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) while still searching for appropriate care.
Julie’s testimony is a reminder of why access to medical care, mental health support, and hope matters.

In January 2022, a V-safe participant reported being “completely debilitated” and described chronic fatigue, brain fog, short-term memory loss and chest pain. They also reported having experienced two heart attacks.
Then came their plea:

Imagine that …FDA officials withholding critical COVID vaccine safety information? The public deserves a full, independent investigation and bipartisan congressional oversight.
We’ve seen this game before.
In 2004, FDA safety officer Dr. Andrew Mosholder was prevented from presenting findings of a nearly doubled risk of suicidality in children taking antidepressants. Senior FDA officials prevented him from presenting findings at FDA hearing on this topic. That controversy helped trigger major BIPARTISAN congressional investigations into FDA leadership and Big Pharma.
You cannot demand public trust while withholding critical safety information from the very people you’re supposed to protect.
We need the same congressional scrutiny today, along with journalism willing to ask difficult questions. We don’t need media protecting a one sided narrative. What happened to the @nytimes?
Drug safety isn’t red or blue. It’s about people, transparency, and accountability.

We have seen this pattern before: we have tried extensively for years to bring attention to this issue without media coverage.
Now, vaccine injury becomes a major news story, only when politics enters the picture. The political debate takes over, while the people living with these conditions are pushed to the margins.
That is the opposite of what patients need.
Investigate the science. Scrutinize the protocol. Ask hard questions of everyone involved.
But don't erase the patients from their own story.
