It's been 125 Yrs since #OscarWilde was released from Reading Gaol where he was imprisoned for his sexuality. These 5 #SaveReadingGaol supporters have recorded #TheBalladofReadingGaol in aid of our cause. 💪

@ReadingGaolHugger has been keeping a low profile since hugging and linking hands with strangers became more or less illegal.
However, the news from @Banksy has woken us up. Thank you #Banksy for your generosity. A big virtual hug from the huggers.

@Banksy you must be Reading’s most popular person just now.
And thank you @JANUSZCZAK too for the fabulous articles in the @ST_Culture

My letter to @RobertBuckland seeking a meeting between him, myself and @ReadingCouncil to urge his department to rethink their rejection of the fair offer made for Reading Gaol.
I am determined to protect this historic site for our local community.

Incredible media interest in a possible #Banksy work on the wall of #ReadingGaol This shows once again the national and international importance of this unique historic building. @Eastreadingcom @ReadingCivicSoc #artwork #rdguk

Living in the shadow of London’s commuter belt, Reading’s tech-led economy is quietly withstanding the pandemic and the 'town' looks better set for the future than many UK cities, writes @WhiteakerJon

Good new for the campaign to @SaveReadingGaol
Been making case to @MoJGovUK over some time for a regeneration of Reading Gaol which recognises its iconic heritage & delivers a local arts and culture hub. Thanks @RobertBuckland for confirming period of exclusivity for @ReadingCouncil to develop a business case with partners!

The BBC reported that the Developer who planned to purchase #ReadingGaol (Artisan of the Isle of Man) has just withdrawn. One good thing to come out of #COVID19. Best of luck to our friends in Reading who are fighting to stop the sale of the Gaol. #OscarWilde #heritage
