14 states still tie your suppressor to it. The ATF quit enforcing registration for suppressors and short-barreled rifles nationwide on Oct. 9, but in these states, state law only allows a suppressor if it鈥檚 registered under the NFA. Skip the Form 4 and you can still land in legal trouble at home.
Mississippi AG Lynn Fitch fixed it for suppressors in three days. Every AG in those 14 states can do the same.
