Today's adventure finds me in North Battleford prepping for a Canola School interview! Are there any topics or interviews that you would like to see on one of our school series?
I love it when work means spending time with friends that I don't see often! Not only did I learn how to make a Johnson Su Bio-reactor, but got to hang out with these lovely people!

Heading your way @2020SeedLabs Friendly reminder to use Avadex, Fortress, Simplicity, switch up Canola hybrids for as many groups on your farm as possible. Your local agronomist appreciates it. #wildoats #resistancetesting

It sucks as I'm driving to see the state of the crops... I think this was a wheat field? Maybe?
So many crops look like summer fallow. There's canola crops with half the crop still in flower. Swathed fields have condensed into small tiny rows from the rain. Such a tough year.

A proper tow strap is worth its weight in gold!
Be safe out there this harvest, especially after this big rain
I urge everyone now after this rainfall to be careful when pulling out stuck equipment. Don’t cheap out on equipment for pulling. We had our near fatal accident month ago and I’ll never look at a stuck piece of equipment the same. Please use your heads to think. Not to stop a clevis flying through the air #Agtwitter

Wet fields with ducklings? 🦆 This year's moisture means variable maturity. Growers must assess low spots vs. upslope to decide harvest strategy: prioritize mature areas, swath, or wait for all to dry. The new Wheat School might help you make your decision... #WheatHarvest
I feel for growers dealing with wet conditions & variability heading into harvest. Some areas are ready to go, others are still green.
We’ll be looking at exactly that in an upcoming Wheat School. How do you make the call when your field is all over the map?
No point in wasting a perfectly good storm! These crops could definitely use some hot and dry days though...
