For sure. I tip a minimum of $15 even if it's a $30 check at Waffle House. Because people deserve a real wage. If $15 is lower than 20%, then I adjust accordingly.

If all of the people who hate tipping so much expended their energy on fixing the wage problem instead of writing essays on receipts, maybe things would be in a better place.

Well, currently, Mission Texas is a roughly 25 hour commute to my current job, so I'm not sure that's going to work out.

Also, the median household income is 25% below the Texas average, the poverty rate nearly double the national average, and that $90k house needs easily 10's of thousands in renovations.
