I played an early build of Chain Reaction and here are my first thoughts: *No direct communication with the team or assets owned. I have not looked into the economy yet as I like to go into the game blind, if possible. DYOR -Account creation was simple and only took a few seconds -It's nice to learn the game against bots instead of having to get people together to play -Gameplay felt smooth, but there were no other players to test the actual netcode Feedback -Getting on the Epic Game Store would make people feel more comfortable than a standalone download -Aiming down sights felt like it gave no meaningful accuracy boost over firing from the hip -Hits need better SFX to feel more responsive -Kill marker stays onscreen a tad too long and obscures vision -You should always have a knife in GunGame for running out of ammo, reload, and deducting points from other players -Some maps felt too cramped and others too large for the amount of players -Some sort of special SFX when getting a new gun -Onscreen scoring and warning when a players reach the knife -Some reloads/ready animations were painfully long -Better SFX/VFX feedback for melee attacks hitting vs missing -Melee should have more of a wind-up and cooldown between uses while doing more damage (at least to the back/head) or some tiny dash -Add a golden gun to stall intensity towards the end All in all, it needs a bunch of work, but the bones are there and I am surprised the GunGame mode has not been done to death in web3 due to how exciting it is. (who wants another BR?)
