Matt Campbell grew up in a football family, that included one-on-one games with his younger brother, Scott, and going to two-a-days with his father, Rick.
But the way he prepared for games at Mount Union was “abnormal.” His brother Scott explains why:

Matt Campbell's former teammates, players and coaches all say the same thing: He has, and always will be, the same guy — no matter the situation.
My deep dive on his rise from D-III Mount Union, Toledo and Iowa State and why he's now prepared to lead Penn State, from those who know him best:

Penn and Yale set to kickoff at Franklin Field, where standout #Yale safety Abu Kamara has a large contingent of friends, family, and former teachers attending.
Also am told several NFL scouts are in the building, per @conorfsmith, to see Kamara.
My story on him earlier this week:

#Yale was the first school that took a chance on safety Abu Kamara, he said. And as the football team's 153rd captain, the Interboro grad is now catching the eye of NFL scouts.

Yale took a chance on Delco’s Abu Kamara. Four years later, he’s catching the NFL’s eye. ebx.sh/ST7Kyc
I guess I’ll be firing up some Evan Neal film today…
The #Eagles are signing G/T Evan Neal, the former No. 7 overall pick out of Alabama.

Awesome to see Malik Mustapha make big play after big play down the stretch for the #49ers. Was a big fan of his versatility back at Wake Forest and showed then he could lay the boom.
#WakeForest Safety Malik Mustapha is one of the few senior safeties heading to the Senior Bowl and he flies to the football. Has versatility to play in the box, from the slot, w/range to make plays in vertical passing game.
Compact, first to ball, can guard TE’s and slot WR’s.
What an unbelievably scary situation for Jalen Hurts and I’m glad that he’s getting the medical attention and treatment he needs. Football is secondary right now, as it should be. Can’t believe he played last Sunday in London
Watch Alvin Kamara (41) make an incredible redirect block on the blitzing corner to allow Tyler Shough to kick up this first down. #PassProAintPassive
Lee Hunter wrecking the #Eagles early in this game
#Panthers rookie DT Lee Hunter (#92) was wreaking havoc on the Bears interior O-line on the first couple of drives of the game. Defeated a reach block twice on the backside of a run play, got a quick win as a pass rusher, then a nice stack and shed. Really popped in his first NFL game.
Broadcast definitely read Alex’s story on Bryce Young when introducing him to the audience today
Bryce Young grew up in CA.
But he was born in Wynnewood, lived briefly in Havertown, and still has family in Mt. Airy.
When he was a kid, he'd visit once a year (always making time to stop at Dalessandro's).
His parents say it's a "second home" to him: inquirer.com/eagles/panthers…
First play for the Eagles, play action under center is a sack. If that doesn’t describe the offense this season…
Good call from the #Texans on that third down conversion to call RB Mesh Traffic to Woody marks
Liam Coen had Wyatt Milum running a bubble route at the top of the screen LMAO
Nate Boerkircher with the INSANE one-handed touchdown catch!

Nate Boerkircher with one hell or a TD catch. Good player!
Not many true "Y" type of tight ends in this draft class, but #TAMU TE Nate Boerkircher executed a lot of those duties after transferring from Nebraska. Didn't have overwhelming production but did a nice job as a blocker in-line and flexed out, and even pass pro occasionally.
Colin Hitschler’s #UCLA defense tonight: 214 total yards allowed, 3 sacks and 7 points allowed.
The “Bruin Bullies” living up to their name:

Philly native Colin Hitschler has the #UCLA defense, who forced seven Oregon turnovers last week, humming this season.
