Big news: Fortnite is coming back to the App Store in Australia tomorrow!
Today the Australia Federal Court told Apple to open up iOS after finding they violated competition law. Here’s what’s changing in Australia in March 2027:
• iOS will be open to third party app stores
• Australian users will be able to download apps directly from developers
• Developers will be able to offer only alternative payment systems and Apple can’t require devs to offer Apple’s IAP, without charging junk fees
• Apple cannot block developers from pointing users outside apps to make purchases
• Apple is barred from charging junk fees on purchases made in third party app stores
This is great news for developers worldwide and iOS users in Australia who will benefit from an open mobile app ecosystem.

I know it's an absolutely crazy shot but I feel like this is a fitting time to shoot it
If anyone who's ever worked at/with Mediatonic or Epic who has some insight over what's been going on internally at the company over the past few years (especially with Fall Guys, but also otherwise) I would absolutely love a chat or interview or anything adjacent for my channel.
If some stuff is covered by NDAs, fine. If you need to be anonymous, fine. But I am quite frankly desperate for this opportunity.
Epic Games is developing their Fortnite Disney metaverse mode with "AI first production", using art "generated with full AI workflows", and saying there should be "no more hand-written code", even though it seems most developers on the mode don't actually want this.
Genuinely disgusting. They left Fall Guys to rot for 15 months & counting for this, by the way!
Good job Bloomberg broke this story because it seems like Epic probably wouldn't want anyone knowing this otherwise... almost as if they know it's a bad look?
Also reminder they have done multiple price increases in their games and two huge waves of layoffs within the past few years 🙃

I think I'd call it Fall Guys Creative and have it tied to a lore character named Digi and then completely kill off the game's lore as soon as the mode launches and then stop updating the mode after just over 2 years and let the game rot
