Competitive Pokémon TCG has evolved significantly over the years. There was a time when you could pick up a deck, rely on strong fundamentals, and reasonably expect a solid finish. Today, strong fundamentals are just the baseline expectation. Success in the current competitive landscape demands a much deeper understanding of your deck's individual matchups.

Tpci finally got me. I dedicated 25 years of my life to this game. Teaching the game around the Italy, raising players and building community all for nothing. But Apparently I'm everything that is bad in this game. The worst part, I was ready to travel for Nice because they didn't even have the dignity to notify my perma ban. I was a target for some people working for Tpci for the past 10 years. It happened again during the last World championship and I complain about that with a tweet that I deleted 6 hours later. For that I got a perma ban. I'm devastated. Pokemon is literally my life. I can't stop crying. Good luck to everyone in Nice, I will make a goodbye post in the future.

Please take care of your personal hygiene. I've had an incident @ Baltimore regionals where I had to throw up due to a nearby player's stench. My friends and I couldn't focus that round due to how putrid the smell was and we even told a judge due to it. Like c'mon man....

So, you can grab opponents full deck list during a PTCGL match?? Maybe win rate in high ladder is a bit of a myth. This is a pretty significant advantage for those with access.
