Why the hell is almost everything humans create shaped like a RECTANGLE? Your TV. Your phone. Your doors. Your windows. Your refrigerator. Your microwave. Your cabinets. Even the room you're sitting in. RECTANGLES. EVERYWHERE. Perfect rectangles are relatively uncommon in nature, yet humans have built entire cities, homes and technologies around them. Now people are filming themselves looking around their own homes, genuinely stunned by how many rectangles surround them. One woman starts pointing at everything in her room before completely losing it: “OH MY GOD! WHY IS EVERYTHING A RECTANGLE?!” If nature doesn't build everything in rectangles, why have humans designed almost our entire existence around them?
