Not often I agree with Thomas, but i believe heโs right on this. Just because your hot girlfriend dumped you for another guy doesnโt automatically make her a villain. Sometimes youโre the douche canoe and could have treated her better.
Go ahead and boo Quinn Hughes, but make no mistake, his #Canucks legacy should be celebrated.

Definitely a top 5 โThis WAS the 90sโ song
You just had to be there
Released in 1996 as the second single from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, โ1979โ became the Smashing Pumpkins' biggest American hit, reaching No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on both the Modern Rock Tracks and Mainstream Rock Tracks charts. The album was eventually certified 10ร Platinum in the United States. โ1979โ was almost left off the album: producer Flood gave Corgan a final deadline to complete the unfinished song or remove it from the record. Corgan went home, finished the lyrics that night, and returned the next day with a new demo that convinced Flood to keep it.
Billy Corgan wrote the track as a nostalgic reflection on adolescence and the transition into adulthood. Although the title refers specifically to the year Corgan was 12, the song is less a literal autobiography than an idealised reflection on what it felt like to be young.
This is a joke, right???

I would do nasty things for one of these sandwiches ๐คค

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This was filmed at a US Italian-American deli, not Milan, Italy. The narrator mentions "Jersey ripe tomatoes" and says the sandwich "is not even on the menu" โ an off-menu creation, not an existing famous Milan dish. x.com/i/status/21085โฆ
Their best album
Soundgarden released their third album, โBadmotorfingerโ on this day in 1991. It has been publicly praised by Jimmy Page, Geezer Butler and Alex Lifeson. The opening track, โRusty Cageโ is my favourite.
What are your thoughts on this album?
