Celebrating excellence in our schools! 🎓 During Wednesday’s Board meeting, our Board of Trustees and Superintendent Dr. De La Torre recognized our 25 exceptional campuses that earned an “A,” the state’s HIGHEST rating, in the Texas Education Agency’s 2026 A-F accountability ratings! Their performance helped Ysleta ISD remain the city's highest-rated district for the sixth consecutive year, with an overall score of 88 and a B+ rating. Among the 25 campuses recognized, we highlighted our 7 high schools that earned an “A” – a first for any district in our area!

Happy Birthday to our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Xavier De La Torre! 🎉 Thank you for your continued vision, energetic leadership, and commitment to Excellence by Design across Ysleta ISD. We appreciate everything you do for our students, staff, and community every single day! 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this morning’s SAFE Conference at Eastwood HS! Coming together as a community reminds us that keeping our students, staff, and community safe is a shared responsibility and a priority we all have in common. A special thank-you to our keynote speaker, Carlos Briano, PIO for the EP DEA Division, for sharing your inspiring story. Your message was a powerful reminder that every student has potential and that, with encouragement, support, and a caring community behind them, they can achieve great things. Together, we can continue building a safer, stronger, and more supportive community for every student! 🤝💙
