I'd like to see a test run with harsher d/c penalties if the system was adjusted to this: 🔷You get 1 free d/c a day (sh*t happens, life, internet): However, the game would need to detect if you're disconnected due to any DBD related error (i.e: Unreal/EAC, etc.), so it doesn't count against you / you won't lose your "freebie d/c token". 🔶 D/C penalties+tokens are group based: if anyone within your 4 man has used their free d/c token, you all have while grouped. (1 token➡️0 tokens) 🔷 If there is a d/c within the first minute of the match, the game is canceled: 🔸Killer: gets priority queue (unless they were the one who d/c'd, obviously). 🔹Survivors: Players who didn't d/c get no penalty. 🔸Player who D/C'd: gets a MUCH higher penalty. 🔹Incentive: Could give everyone who didn't' d/c a 2xBP bonus for the next match, since they have to go through queue/lobby simulator again. 🔶Since penalties are shared while grouped with anyone that has the penalty / has used their freebie token that day, it couldn't be abused by 4 mans to swap who takes their free d/c until they all have. 🔷If you leave the group of the person who has used their freebie/has a penalty, you will again have yours available (0 token➡️1 token) - it's only while you're grouped with someone that has used it that your d/c token goes to 0. 🔸Freebie Token Reset: Daily x1 🔹Penalty Reset: The penalty window is 48hrs. If you hit a penalty and not just a freebie, you will not get a token back until you go 48 hours without a d/c. 🔸Increasing Penalty: Continued D/Cs during the 48hrs increases your d/c penalty timer. (multiplier TBC) 🔹Window Refresh: If you d/c within the 48hr window, the window refreshes for another 48hrs. 🔶It's not fair: I often see people complain about systems like this, because, "it's not my fault my internet is bad", etc. and trust me, I've had bad internet before, it sucks. However, I think you need to understand that YOU ARE CHOOSING to play an online game with a bad connection, that's YOUR CHOICE. Not everyone has hours to sit down and play a game every day, maybe they only have time for 2-3 games after putting the kids to bed and going to bed themselves. Do you think it's fair to them that you ruined 1 out of 3 games that day, because it's a lose-lose situation from the start? You need to accept the fact that online connections that are unstable ruin the experience for EVERYONE, not just you. Maybe if you use your freebie token for the day, you swap games to something else until it resets. 🔷Ruining the game: Just overall, it's not fun to be stuck in a losing game from the start. It's not fun to play killer against 2 bots and 2 real people, etc. If the d/c happens within the first 60 seconds of the game, there is no way that game will be more than a slog for everyone in it, but they're forced to stay in it, or get the killer to 4 man slug everyone to have the abandon option and sometimes the killer won't do that, so they're just being punished for not being a brat that d/cs at the first inconvenience.

HELP NEEDED I need suggestions for free, very cheap or postponeable Donothon goals. My birthday is Sept 1 and I'd like to do a donothon to raise money to help with the costs of moving for school that month, but I've never done one. Money is very tight due to the move, so spending immediate money is a no go. If you're a streamer and have done one before and can also suggest any widgets/extensions to help, donothon format, or goals, I'd really appreciate it.
