After 7+ years in crypto, the best filter I’ve found for real opportunities:
Does the project generate revenue that doesn’t rely on new token buyers?
Everything else is just speculation with better branding.
What’s your top filter?
After 3 full cycles and dozens of project reviews, the setups that actually paid were never the loudest narratives — they were the ones where on-chain activity, real user retention, and team behavior stayed consistent when the hype died.
Most people still chase the opposite.
What’s the quietest signal you’ve learned to trust before allocating capital?
4 cycles in and the biggest lesson never changes: the market doesn’t punish wrong direction — it punishes oversized bets when the signals conflict.
BTC testing ~$80k into the Oct 28 Fed, after ETF outflows and sticky oil, is exactly that setup. Direction is noise until the data clears. Position size is the only real edge.
What’s your hard rule for cutting risk when flows reverse?
After 6+ years and multiple full cycles, the traders who survive don’t chase every narrative. They size positions so a single bad call never wipes the account.
1-2% max risk per idea. The rest is patience and process.
What’s your hard rule on position size?
Most people treat risk management as a set of rules. After multiple cycles, I’ve learned it’s closer to a survival filter.
The projects that actually compound capital aren’t the ones with the best narratives—they’re the ones whose token design forces alignment between team, early investors, and users through structured unlocks, real utility sinks, and measurable on-chain activity. Everything else is noise that gets arbitraged away once liquidity rotates.
What’s the one on-chain or tokenomics signal you now refuse to ignore, no matter how strong the narrative is?

As a forex trader you’ve got to know why your trading system works. Learn from others and most importantly create yours and add your own uniqueness.
After multiple cycles the traders still standing aren't the ones who called the Fed or the breakout — they're the ones who size for the downside first when yields compete with risk assets.
BTC holding ~$82k despite elevated yields and Oct 28 pricing shows real structural demand. That doesn't make leverage free. Define the invalidation before entry or you're just gambling with a narrative.
How are you sizing into the decision?
Most traders focus on entries. After multiple cycles, the real edge is in how you size and exit when the narrative dies. Utility and sustainable tokenomics separate survivors from the 90% that get forgotten. What’s the one metric you refuse to ignore on any project?
After 4 cycles, the real filter isn't alpha calls — it's who still has capital after the 70-90% drawdowns.
Most blow up sizing for the upside they want instead of the downside they can survive. Conviction without position sizing is just hope with a chart.
What's one risk rule you've never broken, even when the setup looked perfect?

Ignore those who judge your journey without understanding your purpose. 💯
Deep message 📌
Most 'alpha' isn't found on charts. It's in tokenomics, team incentives, and whether the protocol actually needs its token.
After multiple cycles, the survivors aren't the loudest — they're the ones with real sinks and sustainable demand.
What's one project where the token design clicked for you early?
