“When a woman starts making money, she no longer has marriage or family on her mind.” You see this saying? It’s only now that I’m beginning to understand it, and the fact that it’s 100% true! 😭

The only people who get upset about you setting boundaries are the ones who were benefiting from you having none.

I genuinely think a time will come when many women will regret supporting the version of feminism being glorified today. And I’m not talking about equal rights, opportunities, or financial independence. I’m talking about pseudo-feminism that teaches women they don’t need a man, compromising is weakness, making sacrifices is losing yourself, and that earning money means you should never have to adjust for anyone. Where respecting your husband is called submission, putting effort into a relationship is considered desperate, and walking away is celebrated more than working things out. And I think many women will realise how damaging this mindset was, perhaps in their late thirties or forties, when they look back and understand that they were taught to see partnership as a burden rather than something worth building. I genuinely believe that day is not very far away.
