The fan who shared his wish to live long enough to play GTA 6 has sadly passed away. His sister announced his passing on his TikTok account, voidonly.
Back in August, we shared his story in the hope of bringing it to Rockstar Games’ attention.

Imagine having to hold onto that secret for all these years, must have been brutal.
Really looking forward to their performances as Lucia & Jason, I really think they will both smash it.

I entered Los Santos as a confused 14 year old kid. I'm leaving as a grown adult, grateful for everything this game has been able to give me. Memories, friends, lessons, a career!

I honestly really like Sam Houser’s non-public approach. It’s kind of refreshing.
There’s obviously nothing wrong with leaders such as Hideo Kojima or Todd Howard who enjoy being in the spotlight. However, I find it super cool how Sam Houser just does his thing and cooks up masterpieces in the shadows.
Truly GOATED.
Sam Houser is very much involved in the development process for Grand Theft Auto VI, in quote "remains integrally involved in every aspect of the game's creative development".
He has shaped the map, the story, characters and every major creative decision.
