My conference realignment proposal
> 7 Power conferences of 10 teams (Big East with 11)
> Notre Dame remains independent with scheduling agreement w/ Big East
> 5 Midmajor conferences of 10, 12, or 14 teams (64 teams)
Power conferences not named Big East
- 9 conf matches
- 5 non-conf matches
- 2 Power rivals
- 1 other Power teams
- 1-2 midmajor teams
- 0-1 FCS teams
Big East
- 8 conf matches
- 6 non-conf matches
- Scheduling agreement with Notre Dame vs 6 schools
- Notre Dame vs Boston College, permanent matchup
5 midmajor conferences
- 9 conf matches
- 5 non-conf matches
- 1-2 Power teams
- 2-3 midmajor teams
- 1 FCS team
College Football Playoff
- 16 teams
- Top 2 teams from each Power conference
- 2 best Midmajor conf champs
- Teams in same conference are on opposite sides of the bracket
- All 7 Power conf champs and 1 At-Large are seeded 1-8
- Seeds 1-8 have a home game in the First Round
- Semi-Finals held in Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl on January 1
- Final held one week from Saturday (CFB would need NFL to postpone their season so the Final is held the Saturday before the Week 18 matchups on Sunday)

SEC: 10
Big 12: 5
Big Ten: 5
ACC: 2
Mountain West: 1
Pac 12: 1
Independent: 1
The SEC's 10 is its most this late in a season since the poll went to 25 teams in 1989.
The Big 12's 5 ties its most this late in a season since the league began in 1996.
The Big Ten went the other way. Ohio State, Northwestern and Wisconsin all lost to unranked teams on Saturday, tying Sept. 30, 2000 for the most ranked Big Ten teams to do that on one day in AP poll history.

Massive credit to @ReneePaquette. You have to look into someone's eyes when telling a story. She was so giving, a magnificent person to partner with on any scene.

Saturday vs Miami marked the first time in his head coaching career that his team scored at least 35 points and LOST😬
He had been 103-0 entering the day🤯
