Recommendations to maintain an anonymous status across Cardano a pseudo anonymous blockchain.. 🩵 1. NFTS. If you own an NFT and have shared it socially, its extremely easy to link an identity to a Wallet. Only do this if you are happy to expose this & linked wallets. 💬 2. Asset Amounts - Do not discuss how much of an asset you hold. It's extremely easy to query addresses with x amount and begin a data pinpoint exercise to identify someone's wallet. 🤖 3. Wallet Interaction - When sending tokens to another wallet you are basically creating an ever-lasting link between these wallets. (Think of this like a visual bridge between them) I would recommend against this unless happy to expose all wallets. You can send ADA from wallet x to a CEX and back to wallet y to ensure x wallet is not connected directly to wallet y. 🙏🔥 4. ADA Handles - Sharing a handle is fine if you are willing to expose this wallet, but please remember you will also be exposing every wallet this exposed wallet interacts with and any activity too. 👀 5. Buying, Selling & Voting power / Social interaction. Socially announcing a period of time when you placed a buy or sell for a specific token or even a governance vote allows an individual to narrow down wallets that placed orders in that time period. Be aware. 🕒 6. Support - If you are asked for your wallet address you can of course refrain from sharing this, despite this being an internal member of staff for a project, one should not need to expose this and 'trust' this member of staff. We should always support this users decision with Cardano being a pseudo anonymous blockchain. 🙏(I have an idea on this) 7. Portfolio - it's great if your portfolio is rising fast or not so great if it's dropping. Don't forget publishing particulary at a certain time does prompt the option of investigation, though it's harder but possible especially when you are vocal with specific tokens etc. Recommendation - I would suggest having multiple wallets as a best practice for each purpose, I for example have a group of bot/test wallets that only interact with eachother and isolated wallets completely for my serious trading investments that only interact with a CEX directly for moving funds between them not with eachother.
