Great talk from Angela, presenting case studies highlighting the crucial role of the OT in school, to support children following injury
Occupational Therapist Angela Molner at Rehabilitate Therapy looks at the how the role of the OT helps children with special educational needs achieve a pathway to education. #bridgingthegap
Excellent and helpful talk from Rachael about EHCPs and the duties of Local Authorities to meet the needs of children and young people
Rachael Smurthwaite at @irwinmitchell covers the legal definitions and differences between special educational needs and learning difficulties. Ensuring these are defined correctly can mean the difference between getting or not getting the correct support a child needs. #bridgingthegap

Choose your words carefully when referring to car collisions. Using 'crash' or 'incident' is more precise than saying 'accident'. 'Accident' implies trivial, unpredictable events, which can wrongly suggest that seeking personal injury compensation is unjustified.

Privileged and delighted to be supporting and attending this event in #Glasgow in September, together with my colleagues from our child brain injury team. #childbraininjury #IPBIS2024
