📢 Attention Recordly Community!
We are writing to provide a transparent update regarding the current status of the project.
At this time, our lead developer, Derall (@webadderall), remains unreachable. While we continue to await word from him and sincerely hope for his return,
The Admin team is taking proactive steps to ensure the underlying vision of this project continues.
In the interim, our core admin team have taken the initiative to independently fork and advance the Recordly codebase.
We are pleased to share two substantial developments born from these efforts:
Beam by ExtraBinoss
a complete, stable release is now available. This fork successfully integrates all of Recordly's beta features while delivering significantly enhanced performance and operational stability.
NekoCut by the-wiii-lab
An alternative fork built upon the Recordly foundation that pivots to prioritize advanced AI integration and features and autonomous support capabilities.

To our beta testers, contributors, and loyal Ko-fi supporters: Thank you. Your belief in Recordly is what drives this open-source project forward.
We want to provide full transparency regarding the current status of the project.
Our founder and lead developer, @webadderall, is currently offline and unreachable. We sincerely hope all is well with him and look forward to his return.
Please be assured that the project is not abandoned. The core team of maintainers is here, and we are actively developing major updates that will be rolling out very soon.
We also need to address our Ko-fi funds. All previous tips are secure in the project's original account. However, because the current active maintainers do not have administrative access to those funds while our founder is away, we have run into a temporary roadblock.
This brings us to a specific request for our macOS users. To officially sign our application and bypass the long waits and security warnings on Mac, we must enroll in the Apple Developer Program, which requires a $99 USD annual fee.
Because we cannot access the existing Ko-fi balance to cover this, we are asking our Mac community if they would be willing to help crowdfund this specific $99 requirement. Securing this will allow us to deliver a seamless, fully signed macOS version immediately.
We remain fully committed to the vision of making high-quality, motion-driven screen recording accessible to everyone.

So today tried recreating one of the Layout Animation examples from the Motion docs but without using layout 😅. I haven't learned it yet so yea.
Ended up handling the sequence manually with 2 states.
