These are the items that Earnestine Hill was able to salvage from her home of 32 years after a tornado decimated her community in Silver City, Mississippi. Earnestine was home when the tornado struck and suffered injuries to her leg and ankle. Thankfully, she was able to receive additional medical care at a hospital after climbing out of her bedroom window and connecting with local law enforcement. Hundreds of Red Cross volunteers like Charlene Walker supported people affected in the aftermath, providing shelter to those seeking refuge, distributing relief supplies, and going door-to-door in neighborhoods to check on residents. 🚨 Matching Gift Alert! Today (July 23), you can make double the impact for people affected by disasters big and small. Thanks to our friends at Land O'Lakes, Inc. and their Foundation, they will match every dollar you donate until midnight today, up to $100K. Donate here: rdcrss.org/4fc9OSr
