Iran Claims Regional Security Understanding With KSA, Pakistan, Türkiye Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary says Tehran reached an understanding with Pakistan, Türkiye and KSA that the region's security is achieved through its own states, according to Al Jazeera. No Saudi, Pakistani or Turkish confirmation of that wording yet. Tehran is framing the Makkah Pact talks as a win against outside forces. Riyadh's version is what counts.

This is England's worst side in 50 years If Pakistan appear revitalised it may well be because they are playing a team offering loose batting, little pace and typically poor fielding.

Asim Munir has pulled off the biggest move yet by bringing Saudi, Türkiye, Pakistan and Iran on the table directly without intermediaries. This is a massive development. Since the beginning of this conflict I have been saying that it is not US-Iran talks that matter, but regional actors coming to an agreement. This is Iran’s biggest chance now to end this conflict. The ball is now in their court. And they will make a BIG mistake if they pass the ball onto other’s courts as they have been doing up till now.

LHC Disposes of Petition for Release of Imran Khan's Sisters - PTI's legal team forgot to name the respondent. Again. 🤭 The Lahore High Court on Monday disposed of a petition seeking the release of Aleema Khan, Dr Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi, after the Punjab government told the court their preventive detention had been extended by another 30 days. The Punjab law officer said the extension was approved on Oct 7 on the recommendation of the Lahore deputy commissioner, per Dawn. The three sisters were detained in September under Section 3 of the MPO, 1960, as PTI prepared for its protest march towards Islamabad. Justice Abher Gul Khan noted that the deputy commissioner, who issued the detention orders, had not been made a respondent, and said the court could not go beyond the scope of the petition. The petitioner's side says it will challenge the new detention notification separately.
