Nigel or Rupert? We've been working on a new song. A melodramatic folk ballad about an existential dilemma facing many on the British right. 🌹

Was amazing watching @DominicFrisby this evening in Totton. Hilarious bloke, incredibly intelligent writer, his new book is out but none will beat Daylight Robbery in my opinion. New skill for my CV “great audience member”

Milton Friedman's greatest regret. The federal government discovered the perfect crime in 1943: make employers collect taxes before workers ever see their paychecks. You think you earn $60,000 per year, but you actually earn $75,000 and hand over $15,000 to politicians without ever touching it. The psychological difference is enormous. Before payroll withholding, Americans wrote quarterly checks directly to the Treasury. Picture yourself sitting at your kitchen table, writing a $3,750 check to the IRS every three months. The pain was immediate and visceral. Politicians faced constant pressure to justify every dollar because citizens felt the extraction in real time. Withholding transforms this concrete loss into an abstract accounting entry. Your employer becomes an unpaid tax collector, and you never experience the actual cost of government. Worse, most people celebrate their tax refunds as government generosity rather than recognizing them as interest-free loans they provided to politicians. The Treasury collects your money throughout the year, spends it immediately, then returns your own cash and receives gratitude. This system enables the explosion in government spending you witness today. Defense contractors billing $640 for toilet seats, agricultural subsidies for corn syrup, and congressional salaries for 535 people who rarely show up to work. When taxation feels painless, voters stop demanding accountability for how their money gets spent. Milton Friedman helped design withholding as a wartime emergency measure and later called it his greatest regret. Free market economists recognized that the psychological pain of direct taxation creates political pressure for fiscal restraint. The temporary always becomes permanent in government hands, and the emergency justification disappears while the extraction mechanism remains forever.

Arsenal are the most left-footed team in Europe. They are so left-footed that Arteta could stage a training match between 10 right-footed outfielders and 10 left-footed outfielders. Across Europe’s major leagues, 27% of players are left-footed. At #AFC, it’s 44%.

Rest in Peace Charlie Kirk. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. They killed his body but his spirit lives on. Charlie was a patriot who dismantled the propaganda and líes of the interventionists and censors with brilliance and undeniable logic. That is why they hated him. A defender of freedom and open debate. An example for millions.

You know why the left hate Charlie Kirk so much? Because he's right. And he didn't use force, he debated people. The left knew he could change people's minds, and they had no answer to that. Their arguments couldn't defeat Charlie. So they used violence.

As we pray for our dear friend and brother in Christ, American Patriot, Father, Husband and son, Charlie Kirk, We know that our God is a loving God. And we must remember that vengeance is the Lord’s. Not ours. Deuteronomy 32:35 “To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.” May Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior bless and heal our brother Charlie, and give peace to his family and friends at this time.

Charlie is a normal guy. Not even that controversial in his takes. And these fucks shot him just like they shot Trump. Because he built something and an infrastructure which reached millions. Its time to call this what it's becoming. A war.
