Interesting piece in The Guardian on how Man United were hobbled by a dispute over a horse. Sometimes, farce really can be stranger than reality.

Great and much-needed win yesterday for @FCUnitedMcr. My only complaint is short corners; both of Whitby’s goals came fairly soon after short corners. Short corners aren’t quite as idiotic as short goal kicks but they are a wasted opportunity & a waste of effort.

Fans for Diversity Day
At FC United, we believe football is for everyone.
We’re asking all of our supporters to join us in celebrating our Fans for Diversity Day on Saturday 31 October from 1:30pm at Broadhurst Park.

Perhaps @henrywinter will know whether this is true: I’ve heard a claim that the Glazers have cost ManU £2billion since 2005. This, at a time when some owners are investing in their football clubs.
While there’s no doubt Altrincham have been the better team by far, we @FCUnitedMcr, don’t help ourselves. The general distribution from the back is appalling and these short goal kicks are idiotic. When will we learn?

Trying to book a train in two months and already no Advanced tickets until 13.30. They can’t all be sold so the Q is did yiy actually have any. Family of 4 two railcards 226 is simp,y obscene @AvantiWestCoast
Owing to problems with public transport, I don’t usually attend @FCUnitedMcr’s Tuesday evening games but our FACup replay against Alty is so big, I’m going to make an exception. I know travel can be difficult, but let’s hope we fill Broadhurst Park & create a cracking atmosphere.
Interesting piece here on the @BBCSport website Re @FCUnitedMcr. IMO, Man United ceased to exist in 2005. Our ethos is a million miles away from ManU, which is nothing more than debt-ridden financial chaos masquerading as a football club.

While I quite like watching
@WeAreTheOverlap; they sometimes talk sense. I am however struck by how uncomfortable some of the ‘talent’ is with being famous. Isn’t the occasional bit of mither the price famous/wealthy people have to pay?
More evidence that footballers like @LisandrMartinez live on a different planet. Mas evidencia que futbolistas como Lisandro Martínez viven en un planeta distinto.

While you shouldn’t have a definitive view based on a radio commentary, I think it’s clear @FCUnitedMcr have been very average this evening; sounds like they just lacked quality all over the pitch. Altrincham Saturday … could be difficult unless we improve significantly.

This season is a farce mate. How many of that Citeh team are there without the cheating?
So now we know, everything ManCity won between 2009 & 2018 was a sham; based on lies & cheating. They should lose their honours & relegated to the NW Counties League - the same should have happened to ManU in 2005. Money corrupts-absolute wealth …

So ManCity have been found guilty of breaking most of the financial rules they were accused of. Let’s see whether the Premier League have got the cojones to impose a punishment on them that reflects the magnitude of the rule-breaking.

Just listening to some City fans on @bbc5live. The breaches are so severe that they must be stripped of everything they won during the relevant period.
