Time to bring up Epstein.
Days away from the elections.
Damning new report from @HouseJudiciary that details how Trump may have been a co-conspirator in Jeffrey Epstein’s conspiracy to traffic and abuse young women in the 1990s, including five women who directly accuse Trump of rape or sexual assault in Epstein’s close company or presence.
I join my Judiciary colleagues in calling for the appointment of an independent special counsel who can immediately investigate and prosecute Epstein’s co-conspirators, and am demanding the federal government fully cooperate with state and foreign prosecutors requesting evidence. Survivors deserve justice NOW.

After the October 15, 2026 Silver Rail Elementary shooting in Bend, parents have rightfully pushed for more on-site officers.
Local officials have noted cost (one additional SRO can run roughly $90k–$125k+ annually) and police staffing shortages as barriers.
Gov. Kotek has not committed to a statewide one-per-school requirement.
She says it’s an issue of “funding”.
How can that possibly be when the SIA funds has $22 million?
Bend has 8 SRO’s across 32 schools.
Ronald loves to point out how much republicans fail us at every point but inthe 2025 session, HB 2179 (sponsored by Rep. Jeff Helfrich, R) would have directed every district school board to adopt a policy providing an SRO or other law enforcement coverage for each school and authorized State School Fund money to help cover costs.
It died in committee. Other school safety bills died in committee as well.
City of Bend has an “Equity and inclusion manager”- salary range $126,000-$161,000 per year.
Community sponsorships (FY 2024-25): The “Cultural and Diversity Celebrations”category totaled about $58,200. Bend Pride Inc received $10,000 for the Central Oregon Pride Festival.
That’s just a handful of examples that democrats are choosing priority over kids safety.

A private company had an automated false positive on high-volume AI tool activity, apologized, and restored access.
An elected state AG is treating it as a public emergency that requires official pressure and “red flags” framing.
That is not neutral enforcement of the law or defense of speech in general.
It is an attack on a private company who was however encouraged deliberately to censor anyone speaking out against Covid.
This is not the same thing.
Frankly in my opinion, Danny boy is using his power to interfere in the elections by alleging deliberate censorship.
Shady.

We’re demanding Meta provide answers after the No Kings Coalition’s Instagram account was temporarily suspended in the middle of a nationwide day of action. The company must explain what went wrong and make sure this doesn’t happen again.

ALT Today, AG Rayfield pressed Meta for answers after the social media company mistakenly shut down the No Kings Coalition’s Instagram account in the middle of a nationwide day of action. According to the No Kings Coalition, its Instagram account was suspended on the morning of October 17, during the group’s nationwide day of action to support early voting. Administrators say they heard nothing from Meta for about 90min., and full access wasn’t restored for 4+ hours.
