This is on Isak, he should fall down and keep rolling. The whole team should surround the ref, being gentleman doesn’t help us at all 🙏🏻

This is the kind of energy I’m talking about, put pressure on them, the goal will come soon, I can feel it.
This is not the kind of performance I was hoping for. The first half simply wasn’t good enough, and the referee has been so biased. I hope we come out stronger in the second half. I still believe we can get back in this game and secure the win. But we need to show more energy, creativity, and determination. Come on, Reds we can still do this.

🚨 Michael Owen on the two controversial penalty appeals Liverpool were denied against Arsenal:
🎙️ Interviewer: “Michael, what was your reaction to the shirt pull on Alexander Isak?
Michael Owen: “I couldn’t believe it wasn’t given. Isak is trying to get to the ball, there’s a clear tug on his shirt, and it affects his movement. You cannot tell attackers to stay on their feet while defenders are allowed to pull them back. That’s the whole point of the rule!”
Interviewer: “And then there was another appeal involving Cody Gakpo?
Michael Owen: “Exactly! That’s what makes it even more frustrating. Gakpo also appeared to have his shirt pulled, and again Liverpool got nothing. Two incidents, two huge decisions, and not even a penalty. At some point, people are going to ask what defenders are actually allowed to get away with.”
Interviewer: “Do you think VAR should have intervened?
Michael Owen: “That’s what VAR is there for! If the referee doesn’t see it, look at it again. These are potentially match-changing moments. You cannot spend all this time reviewing tiny details and then ignore shirt pulls that affect an attacker in the penalty area.”
Interviewer: “What do you say to Liverpool supporters who feel decisions keep going against them?
Michael Owen: “I understand the anger. You can lose a football match because the opposition played better, but supporters deserve to know that the rules are being applied consistently. If those incidents aren’t penalties, then explain what is. Don’t just expect everyone to move on.”

After beating Bournamouth, Brighton and Brentford, and considering how we lost to Man city following the red card, I believe this Arsenal game is the perfect opportunity for Andoni and his team to show the world just how good they really are. 👀🔥#LFC

Throwback to Oxlade Chamberlain leaving Arsenal for Liverpool with zero mention of any real trophies

If we beat Arsenal tomorrow, the gap drops to just three points.
I believe so much in Iraola football. All I’m asking for tomorrow is a big win, a clean sheet and three massive points.
To all Liverpool fans, let the atmosphere be electric tomorrow. Let the noise shake the stadium from the first whistle to the last.
WE CAN DO THIS REDS.

If Manchester City drop points against Brighton today and we beat Arsenal tomorrow, things could get really interesting in the title race.
We desperately need to close that points gap before the next international break, and that’s exactly what I’m hoping for.
Brighton, please hold on until the final whistle
Come on, Seagulls! Do us a favour.

Carrick deserves to be sacked twice. He deserves the humiliation.
What is he even telling them in training?

Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel’s brutal assessment on the defeat: “This is on Lisandro Martinez, he has started World Cup finals, he should do better”
“Few days back he threw his teammates and clubs under the bus and today again he did the same”
“Then laughs away at the second yellow as if it was undeserving”
“He is in his final year of contract and it’s time for him to move”

🚨 John Terry on Xabi Alonso finally handing Estêvão Willian a starting place against Manchester United:
🎙️ Interviewer: “John, Chelsea fans have been questioning why Estêvão hasn’t been starting more games. What do you make of Xabi Alonso’s decision to start him today?
John Terry: “I understand the fans. They’ve watched this kid come in, seen the talent, the confidence and the excitement he brings. When you have a player like that, supporters naturally want to see him on the pitch. Today, Xabi has listened to that demand and given him an opportunity.”
Interviewer: “Does this feel like a big moment for Estêvão?
John Terry: “Absolutely. Manchester United away is not an easy stage. But these are the moments young players dream about. He’s got the shirt, he’s got the opportunity, and now he has to show that he belongs in this team.”
Interviewer: “Chelsea supporters seem delighted to finally see his name in the starting eleven.
John Terry: “And rightly so. Some fans have been frustrated, asking the same question every week: why isn’t he starting? Now they have what they’ve been asking for. But football is not won on team sheets. Estêvão has to turn that excitement into a performance.”
Interviewer: “What would you tell him before kick-off?
John Terry: “Don’t play with fear. Don’t spend the game worrying about making a mistake. Take your man on, be brave, create something and enjoy yourself. The fans are behind you. Sometimes one performance is all it takes to change your place in a team.”
Interviewer: “So the pressure is now on Estêvão?
John Terry: “The opportunity is his. The fans have made their feelings clear, the manager has trusted him, and now it’s over to the boy. Show us what you’ve got.”
