⛔ Redcliffe Bridge will be closed to all users for two short periods tomorrow⛔
The bridge will be opening at 9.30am & midday to allow boats to pass
Diversion signs will be in place and motorists will be permitted to use Bristol Bridge during this time

This unusual looking building on Prewitt Street (now a hotel restaurant) was, until 1923 a glass kiln and was formerly a 60ft conical chimney. #Bristol once had dozens of these kilns, used for turning the sand of the Redcliffe caves into glass.
