🚨 Very Disappointed with @MahindraRise Customer Service I purchased a Mahindra Thar 3-Door on 13 February, and it was a proud moment for me. Unfortunately, within just one week, I started facing a serious issue with the rear seat folding mechanism, making it difficult for anyone to sit in the back seat. I immediately informed the Prayagraj service center and they scheduled an appointment for 9:30 AM. For context, I live in Kunda, which is 60+ km away from Prayagraj. Despite the long distance, I still traveled there. However, when I arrived around 2 PM, the staff refused to even inspect the vehicle, saying I should have come exactly at 9:30 AM. I returned home and scheduled another appointment. During the second visit, I reached exactly at 9:30 AM. The team checked the car and said some hardware parts needed replacement, which would solve the issue. They ordered the parts and I waited more than 7 days for them to arrive. After the parts arrived, I again traveled 60+ km to the service center. The hardware was replaced and the seat folding started working properly. I finally thought the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, within just 24 hours the same problem appeared again. The rear seat cannot be folded properly, which means I still cannot allow anyone to sit comfortably in the back seat of my brand-new Thar. What is even more disappointing: • No priority for a customer who purchased a brand-new car • Multiple 60+ km trips to the service center • Fuel, time, and effort completely wasted • My request to replace the seat during the second visit was denied Now I want to ask: Who is responsible for the time and effort lost in repeated visits? Who will compensate the fuel and travel expenses? And most importantly — what is the permanent solution to this issue? This is not the level of quality or customer support I expected from Mahindra, especially after buying a new vehicle with so much excitement and trust in the brand.
