If you make me laugh, if you make me cry, if you make me kiss my ass goodbye (climate change), if you make me think, if you make me try, if you make me wonder why, I will follow you.

Gov. DeSantis cut $4M+ in critical drainage projects for Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.
Vote blue today.
Today, I'm thinking about everyone who made this moment possible.
The people who stood in long lines, marched in the heat and fought for the right to vote long before any of us were here. They didn't always get to see the change they fought for. But they believed in it anyway, and that belief carried us here.
This people-powered movement was built the same way. Not by one person, but by all of us, one conversation, one door, one neighbor at a time. We're part of something way bigger than ourselves.
It might be my name and face in this race, but this movement we’ve built in the past year is more than just Angie Nixon. This is YOURS. This is for the people of Florida.
So today, let’s honor our ancestors and our families by finishing what they started, and winning this race.
Polls are open, Florida. Change starts with voting. Let’s go!

Democrat, Republican, or independent, it doesn’t matter. All that matters is, when you had the chance, what did you do to help change the world?
There’s a place for you at our bigger table — one where you don’t have to pay to pull up a seat. Polk County, thank you for believing in better.

Hope every Floridian listens to this report just aired on @10TampaBay
And especially listen to the republican voters speaking about why they are voting for @davidjollyfl @GwenGraham
Many of these people expressed the same theme : enough culture wars and divisive politics . Let’s work together to make a better Florida

Polk County showed up strong today! Thank you to everyone who came out, brought the energy, and made this rally special. We feel the momentum across Florida. One more day until change happens for the state I love! We will get this done together! 🇺🇸

Do you understand what the U.S. just did to the Strait of Hormuz the night before the midterms..
the U.S. military attacked Iran's Qeshm Island (WSJ).. the Persian Gulf's largest island.. sitting at the mouth of a strait that carried about 20 million barrels of oil a day before the war.. about 20 percent of ALL the oil the world uses..
this isn't a random island.. this is the military backbone of Iran's control over the strait..
> radar detectors and missile launchers.. hit after Iran fired at a U.S. aircraft in the Strait of Hormuz
> Qeshm.. home to a large underground missile facility and a naval base.. already targeted by the U.S. earlier in this war
> Iranian state media reported 5 explosions.. witnesses saw two planes over the island
> the WSJ says this ONE strike is just the latest in a series of limited strikes Washington has carried out in secret
here's what nobody is framing correctly..
the U.S. didn't hit an oil field.. they hit the island Iran uses to choke the oil that becomes your gas.. your diesel.. your jet fuel.. your heating oil..
and they did it the same day Trump posted that "people feel that there will not be a War with Iran"..
you're not watching a "very soft war".. you're watching Washington and Tehran trade fire over the world's oil chokepoint while you pay $4.17 a gallon to watch..
Follow me for more.

A special moment today as Laura and I cast our votes at home in Pinellas County.
Deciding to run for governor was a family decision, one that we made together. We committed to it because we want our kids, CeCe and Teddy, to grow up in a better Florida.
After nearly two years on the trail, we looked at each other this morning and said “we did it.” We made it to the last chapter of this campaign.
Florida, the future’s now in your hands.
Thank you for allowing us to be on this journey with you.

This campaign is for everyone - Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.
We have to stop the corruption in Washington that is driving up our costs.
I’d be honored to earn your vote today.

22 years voting Republican. Then I did something I never thought I’d do. I voted for Democrat @DavidJollyFL.
I didn’t abandon my conservative principles. I refused to surrender them to the @realDonaldTrump machine.
Here’s why I couldn’t support @ByronDonalds.
A divided Tallahassee is better than a corrupt one.
Watch. Hear me out.

Walmart: 15,515 workers on SNAP.
Amazon: 12,346.
McDonald’s: 6,709.
Dollar General: 5,187.
That’s just 9 states.
Corporate America profits while taxpayers help feed its workers.
Why are we subsidizing low-wage business models?

Ron DeSantis’s failure in disaster preparedness is catching up to Florida with more flooding.
By swapping systemic fixes for short-term band-aids and scrubbing climate change from state law, he's left coastal areas completely helpless as infrastructure fails.

Voting in the 2008 and 2012 US presidential elections was associated with roughly a 26% and 32% lower risk of premature death by 2023, respectively, according to the study published in March
Its most comprehensive findings are based on the health and objective voting data for about 4,200 older adults from Wisconsin.
“You should vote as a civic duty, but doing your civic duty actually has benefits,” said first study author Dr. Femida Handy, who focuses on philanthropy as a professor in the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania.
“Understand voting as not being a magic pill that’s going to make life longer, but it raises the possibility that it provides some certain psychological benefits.”

Stay safe folks. Friendly reminder.
I fought to stop DeSantis from using emergency disaster relief funds for political stunts like Alligator Alcatraz. Ashley Moody allowed it.
I raised the alarm and organized around the 50% cuts to FEMA. Ashley Moody was silent.
We purchased beds, donated money, supplies and food to hurricane survivors. Moody, while Attorney General turned the other way when insurance companies, her donors, denied claims to rebuild homes.
Vote accordingly.

Shocked how many Dems have come up to us …..**and republicans are switching OR splitting the ballot !
But seriously pissed off bc many who voted here for primary and early voting are being turned away sent 3 streets away bc of the endless gerrymandering and redistricting
Utter voter suppression

Never ever underestimate our black brothers and sisters when they are pissed that what they fought and bled for in the 1960’s is under attack.
"By casting far more ballots than expected by strategists in either party, Black voters are fundamentally shifting the midterm landscape, nudging swing states left and making red states suddenly competitive." politico.com/news/magazine/2…

And what they did to our NEW COLLEGE.. once a place that graduated more Fulbright scholars per cap than Harvard or Yale and turned it into a DeSantis croney dumping ground 💰💰💰
And how he REAPPOINTED a Moms for Liberty board school board member when a vacancy occurred ….a person the voters voted out almost a year before !
You bet we’re pissed off!
