In Summer 1933, Go Seigen and Kitani Minoru got together to create the Shin-Fuseki, which translates to "New Opening". In this game a young Go Seigen shows a boldly original opening in his game against the leader of the Japanese professional Go community.

In the weekend February 28- March 1 I visited the Asian Civilizations Museum in Singapore to deliver a lecture and participate in their Let's Play! The Art and Design of Asian Games exhibit that will continue until June 2026.
