I find Nigel Farage’s appeal for Restore Britain supporters to “come back to us” absolutely despicable! Mr Farage, perhaps you should reflect on why so many people who once gave their time, energy and loyalty to Reform UK are no longer part of your party. Not all of us left voluntarily, and you would do well to remember that. Nobody owns anybody’s vote! The British public are perfectly capable of deciding which party represents their values and principles. And on what evidence do you claim Restore Britain can compete in just one parliamentary seat? That is your prediction, not an established fact. I am immensely proud of Restore Britain’s comprehensive and ambitious policies, the hard work behind them and Rupert Lowe’s leadership. Rather than dismissing Restore Britain, perhaps you should address the reasons behind Reform UK’s declining support. As a Restore Britain county councillor, I believe political leadership should be about integrity, accountability and public service, not taking the electorate for granted.
