Was destroying the atmosphere at Selhurst because you'd rather play loud, shite music and pre-match adverts at full volume worth it? Is the silence that you now have during games, at crucial stages, worth it? Do the players appreciate the lack of support? It's shameful.

@CEO4TAG Steve, I’ve never tagged you in a moan before. I know 95% of the times you get tagged on here it’s not justified, and the abuse hurled your way is not on Putting the on-pitch issues to one side, I am now actively not enjoying the matchday experience at Selhurst [1/9]

Never forget that Sharon Lacey stopped this potential tifo back in the FA cup semi vs Chelsea She is for the corporate, not for the fans

If people are so angry at the hf for “giving up” maybe think of another reason why they stopped-some of our fans treated them like shit racially abusing them and hoped they got attacked in Poland etc. how on earth would they want to continue when being attacked by our own fanbase

I really want to believe but I think Sage’s time is up but make no mistake the corner flag post should be for Hobbs and Lacey first

Osario omission I can’t justify but a lot of you forgot that Sarr downing tools means he ain’t up to speed yet, give McNeil a fighting chance and a minute to play catch up

Multiple heads should roll for this from the medical team to the head coach, not one person stopped to think of Jalen’s long term health let alone his career. Negligent.
Jalen Hurts took a long flight to London, got blood clots on his lung, stayed up for 36 hours and still played an entire football game How is that not malpractice and how is there no potential lawsuit

For me most of the blame has to go on Hobbs for the shit recruiting in January that saw us waste £85m on Larsen and Johnson. Then onto the board for replacing Guehi and Lacroix with Disaster and Ahanor. I mean WTF. Then Sage for not sorting out the defensive he has.

Sacking him would do nothing but send the club backwards. All momentum stopped.
Sage: “I don’t know if I’ll have the time to turn the situation around! 😰 I just want to apologize to the supporters, because it’s not normal to show such a face for this club against this opponent. We are not at the expected level. I’m truly sorry, because I know how important it is for them. (…) We didn’t show today that it was also very important for us. We didn’t understand the context in which this match was being played. I am responsible for this team and when it plays like it did today, it’s not normal, it’s my fault.” 😔 @ActuFoot_ @TheAthleticFC

Pierre Sage has been completely and utterly hung out to dry by Parish and Co. Don’t let that slip your mind. #cpfc

The players attitudes and the boards lack of spending this summer makes it inevitable that Pierre Sage would be sacked. Six months to prepare for Glasner leaving it’s completely inexcusable. #CPFC

If we now have to pay a tv licence for YouTube then YouTube premium should be included. This is a feature no one asked for and most actively avoided.
📺 Big news! @BBCNews is now streaming live on YouTube in the UK and U.S. YouTube is the home for high-quality, trusted news: in the first half of 2026 alone, viewers watched over 18 billion hours of news content on the platform. By using @YouTube's live tools, iconic broadcasters like the BBC can build deep, authentic rapport, bringing global communities together to learn, discuss, and follow history as it happens.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This comes as part of a wider move to expand the license fee charter. An upcoming government white paper will recommend Britons be forced to fund the BBC if they use YouTube, Netflix, Amazon or Disney Plus independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
