It really is the collective moment of our lifetime. If you’ve never investigated how the world really works and have laid solid foundations in the status quo and what you are spoon fed, history will judge you poorly. “Question everything” and other wives tales exist for a reason.

Her department received $3 million from George Soros And she talks utter crap!
“What I find very difficult… is the assumption you have to cut your way to be being fiscally responsible” “There’s not a hope in hell that [Labour] are going to oversee any cuts to public spending” Economics professor Mariana Mazzucato and Conservative MP Julia Lopez debate Chancellor John Healey’s spending plans. #Newsnight

Why are we paying high taxes they can’t even deal properly with criminals.
Labour let thousands of prisoners out early. We warned them it would increase reoffending and put the public at risk. That is exactly what happened.

I wonder what benefit the British taxpayer got from levelling up? Looks like we are going backwards and fast
There is absolutely zero organic reason in 2026 for there to be such shockingly poor living standards. This is 100% by design, engineered and delivered by globalists who are actively destroying our way of life.

The truth of the matter is that in the minds of the vast majority of politically-awake people, Campbell did play a pivotal role in misleading the country that took us into an illegal war that cost a huge amount of human life, including Dr David Kelly His pitifully thin defence is to hide behind toothless inquiries and an election in 2005 when Labour squeaked in having lost their huge majority
👏 This is brilliant from Zia Yusuf! He put that smug, lecturing, hypocritical war criminal firmly in his place. On Question Time, Alastair Campbell had the front to accuse others of lying and refusing to take accountability. Zia went straight for him: “Alastair Campbell is calling other people liars, saying they don’t apologise and take accountability. As far as I remember Alastair, you were the person who presented a dossier to the British people claiming Saddam Hussein could launch weapons of mass destruction within 45 minutes. We now know there were no WMDs of any sort.” “You deceived the British public because you and your old boss Tony Blair wanted to go to war with Iraq, and as a direct result of your deception Alastair, almost 180 British troops are dead, 600,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. You have told some of the most consequential lies in the history of this country.” He finished him off: “There are people watching this who would disagree with you when you described yourself as a ‘national treasure’ recently. They would more aptly describe you as a WAR CRIMINAL! If there were any justice in this country, frankly you and your old boss Tony would be on trial!” I didn’t know he’d described himself as a national treasure. Truly delusional. Ruthless and accurate from Zia. You could see Campbell itching to interrupt, absolutely fuming, his old spin-doctor rage barely contained. But the “reformed” version with the carefully managed mental health narrative had to sit there and take it. That must have been agony for him. His response was as weak as expected. He pointed to inquiries that found no deliberate lies or “sexing up”. Then he tried to equate the economic impact of Brexit with the catastrophic, ongoing consequences of the Iraq War. The two are not remotely comparable.

The tax payer will fund you and you can have the profit without the risk, that’s in the tax payer.
A pleasure to be with the UK’s AI founders last night with the Budget’s clear message: we will back you to build British AI, so we can shape it with British values 🇬🇧

WHO WERE THE LAWYERS WORKING FOR? In 2013 the Post Office's own barrister warned its expert witness had not disclosed known Horizon bugs. Convicted subpostmasters weren't told for years. Lawyers owe a duty to the court, not just the client. Who held them to it?
A very short clip from one of my book events in Liverpool (courtesy of Data Law👏). Did the Post Office scandal tell us something wider about lawyers losing their independence?

Er … it looks like we have a hostage situation! It seems the Government isn’t in control at all. Back benchers want to keep their cushy jobs more than they want survival of the economy. Greed and stupidity will send us off a cliff led by the PM who is weak, ineffectual and useless. This isn’t a surprise.

This is just stupid economics. Of course if we put up the price, we can pay more. There’s more tax to pay and NI contributions and all the employee really gets is the same. Bad governance raises prices. It’s the cost of the living, where incompetents run our economy. Shrink them
When beer is seven quid a pint, is £15 an hour minimum wage really such a Big Ask?

The Labour government would rather smother our prime farmland under AI data centres, solar panels and wind turbines than lift a finger to help the farmers who actually feed the country. Prime agricultural land exists for one purpose: growing food and securing the nation’s supply. Instead, government ministers treat it as a blank canvas for Net Zero vanity projects and energy-hungry tech infrastructure, while real farmers are left to struggle with rising costs, squeezed margins and a government that wilfully punishes farmers with the family farm tax. Food security is not an optional extra. It is the bedrock of national security and resilience - and this government is busy paving over it.

Tan Ikram is the Deputy Chief Magistrate. He is linked to an organisation that dismissed the rape gangs as “so-called grooming gangs”. I do not make a habit of criticising judges, but his conduct outside the courtroom raises serious questions. So I asked the Justice Secretary for an investigation. His response was to tell me to stop my "dangerous public criticism". I will not be silenced.

Given the amount of taxation people endure, and have to live with and struggle with, then its surely time to pay politicians the minimum wage, with no expenses, and see how they get on. Close to £100k per year plus whatever they can screw out of "expenses". And audit them!!!

Shows you the rubbish people are being taught in the Woke Universities. Don’t let your kids be brainwashed by this brigade, it’s really not learning but brain rinsing.
Here comes the “if you can’t afford to pay your workers, your business model isn’t viable” brigade. Please listen, any economy only exists because of private enterprise. Without business owners there wouldn’t be the NHS, there wouldn’t be benefits, there wouldn’t be transport infrastructure. You should thank them for taking the risks of starting a business. In terms of the business model being viable, something is viable then government swoop in, increase taxes, increase regulation, increase costs. Government need to be less involved, not more involved. Let the markets determine prices, wages and viability. I suggest you thank your employer next time you get a pay check. Rather than moan, it’s significantly harder running a business than working in one.

What value does the tax payer get? If there’s no value, surely we should not be paying any taxes? Or are we slaves?
NEW: John Healey tells @krishgm the government will NOT bring the welfare bill down during this Parliament Chancellor says: “it's not correct to say that we're going to bring this welfare bill down in this Parliament” But in the same interview he says the system is “broken”

THEY cooked the books and STILL found 2/3 of us with overdosed folic acid floating in our blood. All thanks to 40+ years' "voluntary" fortification with this synthetic chemical. Then they buried the books. Now they're mandating we eat more of it. #folicacid #informedconsent

THE WHISTLEBLOWER WHO CRACKED THE BIGGEST SCANDAL IN UK LEGAL HISTORY Richard Roll @Fujitsu worked on the Horizon system. In 2015 he went on @BBCPanorama and told them Fujitsu engineers had remote access to subpostmaster accounts and could change the numbers in secret. @PostOffice called that impossible. It was their entire defence. 700 people had already been prosecuted on the back of it. Post Office response: send lawyers to intimidate the journalists' sources. Hide Roll's identity from them. Call it a briefing. Call it protecting the brand. Roll gave evidence in the 2019 High Court case. It helped prove the system was defective. Convictions started falling. Since the @ITV drama aired, Fujitsu has collected around £510 million in new UK government contracts. Victims are still waiting for compensation. One man spoke up in 2015. The institution spent a decade making sure nobody heard him. Sources: @BBCPanorama / @ComputerWeekly / @guardian / Others

These people should all be sacked. DEFRA is useless. It’s a failing bunch of paper pushers, they’ve failed our landowners, our habitats, our farmers. Why are we paying for them, let those who support them pay and let the real workers, movers and shapers do the job.
This year saw one of the most devastating wildfire seasons on record. We're ramping up action across government to protect communities, homes and nature.

Failures, all of them.
With the Chancellor tonight in Number 11 stateroom to celebrate the drive and creativity of Britain's founders and entrepreneurs. A packed room full of ideas and innovation, just a day after a Labour Budget 💼

Who needs shop fronts when the shop isn’t able to be profitable from the all the taxation theft. The government system is broken, billions and billions spent and nothing to show for it but a computer model that designs a sign.
It's happening - good design codes are going national. Led by the fantastic team at MHCLG, and with me as a champion from Number 10 North, I think we could make a big impact on an issue that matters to loads of places.
