When S asks "avala adikuranga unaku en ala varla"- expecting a lit bit of empathy and prolly thinking if K wld be supportive of her when she tells him and K says " endha pottachi kagavum ala maten ".. must have hurt her a lott ๐Ÿคง
The way subbu immediately turned away when karthi said " เฎชเฏŠเฎŸเฏเฎŸเฎšเฏเฎšเฎฟ" This little action says many Things.... @karthiksubbaraj ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

There are so many moments in the movie where Sananth switches his energy just like that. Get this man not just all the awards but also all the performance intensive roles please! #Dorothy

And, Subbu and Karthi's swap in violent natures growing up, Karthi loving Thangamalar, killer Vadivu annan becoming philosophical are all done in the same way too (subtle), but the only plot point they have issue with is this. Literally "ragebait or low iq" at this point.

Both of them can do that distinct "I love you but I'm sad" eyes so someone gotta cast them in a film as a married couple who wanna divorce but fall in love again.
I see potential hmmmm

what's so hard to not relate in this part? did y'all never yearn for someone you loved? did y'all never felt excited to meet your loved one after so long? did y'all never dressed nicely, combed your hair, blushed all the way when you knew your yearning was coming to an end?

Just saw one of the best takes on Dorothy. The way KaSu flipped the idea that queerness is against nature. Nature saved Subbu so many times. The scorpion bite, and finally, Karthi saying, โ€œIdk if itโ€™s the breeze or this place, but I donโ€™t want to kill you.โ€ OMG THE BRAIN OF THE PERSON WHO CAME UP WITH THIS TAKE. just realised having a crush on a man is all about liking his eyes and hoping he isn't a racist, misogynist, homophobic, casteist or emotionally constipatedโ

2/2 He then said that even men can get shy can cry and feel all other human emotions. It made me immensely happy to hear that . This is where the director , actors and actresses everyone won. This is what cinema is about. Bring about a change for the better.

Today in the meet and greet one uncle spoke so well. He said that through this movie he realized that just as Keerthy said to Subbu that she was controlling the woman in her, all of us men are doing the same to women around us and to other men(1/2)

Reading all the criticism on #Dorothy one thing is clear. People don't see love as a deep connection between two people, beyond all socially constructed barriers. They see it as a transaction which can't be legitimate outside of social barriers.
