Interesting tidbit here from the NYSE proposing new rules for breaking erroneous trades in overnight trading.
In a filing the SEC published Tuesday, the exchange proposed changes to Rule 7.10, which covers clearly erroneous executions.
The proposal spells out when trades can be reviewed if LULD price bands are missing or wrong, during both regular hours and overnight protected hours. It also updates how multi-stock events are handled, drops references to multi-day events, and adds a cross-market coordination provision.
