The Classification Board just banned an uncut version of THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE II (2011). It was reviewed after receiving an ‘Accredited Classifier Decision’ R18+ in July. @UmbrellaEnt had planned an October release. refused-classification.com/

The Classification Board have confirmed HALLOWEEN: THE GAME (2026) is banned in Australia due to 'illicit drug use that is linked to an incentive or reward'. The RC rating decision was made on 22 July, but not added to the National Classification Database until 14 August.

Despite every effort on our part, the Australian Classifications Board has denied “Halloween: The Game” a rating. The denial was not based on the presence of the iconic slasher, Michael Myers, or the outstanding kills that can be performed in the game, but rather the presence of a controlled substance. Unfortunately, to our disappointment (and certainly yours) this means that we cannot sell the physical or digital product in both Australia and New Zealand.

On 2nd July @IllFonic received an R18+ for HALLOWEEN: PRE-ORDER CONTENT @HalloweenTVG from the automated International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) Global Rating Tool. An RC appeared on 15th July, but has since been deleted. Only the R18+ currently remains.

Amazingly, Border Force thought ORGY OF THE DEAD (1965), a 60 year old movie, may be Refused Classification (banned) material. The Classification Board disagreed & just awarded it an MA15+ (Strong nudity & sexualised imagery). It was likely shipped with DORIANA GRAY (1976).
