At around 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a serious-injury collision near the intersection of Main St. and McLoughlin Blvd in the Arnada neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found the driver lying in the road — about 15 feet from his truck. He was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Impairment is not believed to be a factor. Several local businesses sustained exterior damage. VPD’s traffic unit is continuing the investigation. #vanpoliceusa
