Shopify's checkout wasn't breached in October. Trusted apps were. Hulk Product Options, Selleasy and Swym Wishlist Plus sent shoppers to fake checkouts, then the real one, so orders looked normal. Test your checkout in a private window before BFCM: reliasoftware.com/blog/shopi…

In my opinion, it's the ongoing costs! Variable expenses like token consumption, vector database hosting, and ongoing model evaluation/maintenance often catch them off guard. Choosing an oversized model or rigid stack early on is usually what drives those recurring costs up.

A normal index can't help a query that searches inside a JSON array. Multi-valued indexes let one row point to many index entries, so filtering on array elements finally uses an index instead of scanning every row. How they work? 👇️ reliasoftware.com/blog/multi… #Databases #SQL

Copilot autocompletes inside your editor. Cursor rewrites across your whole codebase with project context. That's the real split: one speeds up the line you're on, the other edits files you haven't opened. Full comparison here: reliasoftware.com/blog/curso…

fetch() doesn't reject on a 404 or 500 — only on network failure. So error handling that assumes a throw will silently pass bad responses straight through. Axios throws on those by default and adds interceptors, which usually determines the choice.

If your unit test needs sqlmock, a gorm dialector, and a fake DSN before it can assert anything — that's not a testing problem. It's a design problem. Dependency Inversion in real Go, including the 4-line trick that replaces your whole mock file 👇
