"AI Art is not art" is the rehashing of an existing slogan. Digital Artists were treated with the exact same vitriol you are treating AI Artists with. It IS hypocritical. I am merely telling you how it is hypocritical. Just because you are too uneducated to see the correlation does not make it any less true. You don't have to mention digital art. The prior existing slogan MUST inherently be true as well if you are co-opting an existing slogan to use against the new medium. I don't have to try harder to show just how wrong you are. Especially when you don't even know how the medium works. It's the same issue Traditional Artists had when Digital Art was on the rise. They didn't understand the medium. All they saw was cheaper resources, faster iteration, an "undo" button, specialized brushes that took years of training to get correct, tools built in that shortened the process. The reason you don't think it isn't hypocritical is because you're blind. You're so captured by the lie that has been sold to you that hypocrisy is built into your very nature. Instead of educating yourself, you spew lies that have been perpetuated by the industry elites. The argument you want is "AI Art isn't Art." And by that logic Photography isn't art. Digital Art isn't art. Pencils aren't an acceptable art medium. If you want to be a painter then you need to go mix your own paint and crush your own pigments. If you want to be a modeller, then you need to go and pick up a block of marble and start sculpting. If you want to draw then you must go back to charcoal and papyrus. Your argument is Illogical because it is the rejection of a TOOL. If you are rejecting a tool then you MUST inherently reject ALL tools. Stop wearing clothing that has been sewn by machines. Get off X, because AI is baked into the algorithm. Stop using a computer, because, it too, is a too. You can argue, however much you want, that this is not the argument you are making, and you will continue to be wrong. If you do not understand the medium and the process, then any argument you make against it is inherently illogical. For every instance you give to prop up any other artform, I will find an opposing instance that proves your argument illogical. You make the mistake everyone else does: "You are not an artist. Pick up a pencil." I have been making art since before the Digital Art War. I was there when the Old Magic was first spoken against the machine. You do not get to twist factual history into a mockery of what it was. I will reiterate: You are a hypocrite. You are uneducated. You are misguided. You have been lied to. You have been used as a tool for an industry attempting to maintain their supremacy and you aren't doing a good job of it.
