A while ago I made a tweaked version of the SnakeHook brush in zbrush. Its got a few tweaks but mainly is much lower strength and a bit more controllable.
Its really handy for working on strands of hair and is much more capable of twisting their direction than just the move tool and is quicker than masking and rotating.
Ive made it available on my kofi if anyone wants to try it out.
