For you, yes. For others, no. Sexualizing my abuse has given me control of my hypersexuality and my therapist genuinely supports it. It’s not “overall really unhealthy” it’s unhealthy for YOU. Not everyone else. Let’s not police how victims process their trauma

Not this discourse again 🫩 one of the reasons victims like to engage in taboo fictions is because they have control over what they consume. They can start or stop reading, skip a scene if they want to, choose to read any part they like.

It's that sense of agency that makes them like to engage in this kind of fiction. I personally don't like the romanticization of such themes, but saying things like that to the victim is really vile.
