Now that the R Senators have come to their senses and are back doing the people’s work, the House is waiting for them to pass our legislation; so I went for a 33mi ride to the Wheatland Ferry. Great to exercise my body instead of my mind. I’ll be back in the House on Tuesday.

June 14th is Flag Day. On this day in 1777, the design for our flag was approved. The flag resembles perseverance, valor, freedom, and liberty. I have a flag on my desk on the House Floor next to our state flag. It reminds me of what I was sent here to do.
