My heart hurts thinking of the terror these precious, innocent children and the school staff and teachers lived through -- but even moreso for the grieving family members whose babies and loved ones were taken from them.
Praying that the Bend community find peace and comfort in this tragic time.

A 5-year-old, 8-year-old, 11-year-old and one teacher were killed in the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon on Thursday, authorities said in a press conference. Two other victims, a 7-year-old and a 54-year-old teacher were taken to a hospital with injuries.

NEW: The National Weather Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, will be required to refer to "Lake America" in all forecast products.
The agency, which falls under the Department of Commerce, is bound by Executive Order 14422.
As such, the Weather Service now needs to adjust its software, and mapping interfaces, to modify Lake Ontario's moniker to Lake America for at least the next 861 days.

I joined the discharge petition for the Epstein Files Transparency Act II to force a vote on allowing state attorneys general, victims of Epstein, and Members of Congress to challenge the DOJ on its failure to comply with the full release of the files. Survivors deserve nothing less.
