Everyone has a motive. Mine comes from the loss of my brother.
Nine years ago today, I lost my little brother Luke to fentanyl - and I’m in Congress, so you don’t have to lose yours.

Drug overdoses are a leading cause of death in our nation, and #RedRibbonWeek provides the opportunity to educate on the risk of illicit drugs, support prevention efforts and recognize the law enforcement officers who work every day to keep us safe. I led a resolution with @RepMcDowell, @SenWhiteHouse and @JohnCornyn recognizing Red Ribbon Week and emphasizing the importance of fighting illicit drugs in our country.
Make a difference. Be a hero. Stay drug free.
Proud to join @JerryMoran in introducing a bipartisan resolution recognizing Red Ribbon Week.
I've seen firsthand the devastating toll illicit drugs take on families. We owe it to the next generation to educate our kids, support prevention, and keep our communities safe.

Our children deserve a future free from the dangers of illicit drugs.
This Red Ribbon Week, we're reminded that strong families, education, and supporting law enforcement are critical to preventing drug abuse and keeping our communities safe.

Today, I’m proud to sign @VP's Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud.
The days of stealing from American taxpayers without consequences are over. It’s time to hold fraudsters accountable.
Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Yet, as too many know, grieving the loss of a baby doesn't happen one day a year.
It’s difficult to discuss the grief that comes with the loss of a baby. In 2023, our family suffered a late-term miscarriage with Mary Margaret's older sister, Charlotte Sloane. It devastated us.
Since then, the Lord has blessed Rachel & I with three beautiful girls. They're the greatest joys of our life. Still, Charlotte will always be our first and we find comfort in knowing that she's with Jesus.
To everyone navigating loss, our hearts and prayers are with you. Please know that even in our darkest days, hope remains.
