Massive ✊ @Republica_FC for visiting all the way from Leeds today 😍 Weird pano dystopian sunset over a derelict petrol station as East London burns. Lovely to meet you - see you soon hopefully
What a day! Thanks to @MPP_FC for another great tournament at the Umix. Great football with great people. ⚽️

Thank you so much to all those who ran the Leeds 10k for us yesterday. We're a really small charity and every single £ is really felt.
Here's a picture of our friends at @Republica_FC after the race!
We had a great time on Saturday with a friendly against our friends in Sheffield @MPP_FC. It was a close game ending with a 5-5 draw and then a final defeat with a golden goal to Mount Pleasant! #solidaritythroughfootball
We are supporting the screening of this amazing documentary with @wnbsocialfooty. Come along and spread the word to any women/nb interested in football in Leeds.
⚽ Republica 1st Vs sporting Pudsey.
🥅 3-3
🎉 POM Rob Scargill
Moment of the match:
PotM Rob charging down the right wing after we'd cleared from our area, cutting back to find the run of none other than El Kapitan – a 90 yard sprint to find the equaliser at the near post.
🥅Unfortunately lost 5-0, but they didn't stop battling until the last second.
🎉 POM - Claire and George Joint
Highlights of the match match from the captain:
- Keira's multiple 1 on 1 saves
- Banham's nonstop runs, throw ins and tackles
Another Sunday gone, another match completed!!
Only the Republica 1sts and 11s had a game this past weekend.
⚽ Republica 11s battled a tough game against a very good team, Hepworth.

Here are this weekends fixtures! Full house of game's this weekend, which is fabulous.
And no, the Republica 11's kick off is not a mistake, we have got an earlier fixture this weekend and many of us are super glad of the earlier start!

Big love to our friends at @Republica_FC for putting us on the front of their shiny new kit.
Great to see them win 3-0 yesterday, long live anti-fascist football!
They also raised £210 for us at their recent tournament.
Do you know any women or non-binary friends/family etc who might like to give football a go!?
On Saturdays we run social football sessions aimed at women and non-binary people looking to get back into football, or to give it a go for the first time.
Details below!
It's that time of the week again!
Come along and support if you can! We know that the pitches start to become more and more muddy at this time of year and our players do their best to stay up right!
Good luck everyone!
Fixtures this weekend!
Reminder also - on Sat 6th November it is the COP26 day of action protest in Leeds. The protest will be starting at millennium square at 1pm and will end at 5pm back in the square.
Who's ready for some football?!
Good luck to all playing and especially good luck to our Republica 11s who will be playing on a literal hill. Would love to see premier League players try that ey?!
Enjoy your Halloween weekend whatever you're up to and stay safe 🎃
Unlucky loss for the men's 2nd game! However, it's early days for a new second team and over time the team structure will come and we'll be sure to be seeing some win's eventually!
"Two games back our defence showed cool resilience to starve the oppo of chances, last week our attack showed directness and flair to score goals in abundance. This Sunday we added the final piece: a tireless and disciplined midfield. In doing so we completed a 6-1 win!"
Republica 11's VS Leeds Hyde park:
"A close game this week for Republica 11s against a good Hyde Park side. The first half was end to end with decent chances for both teams and strong defensive lines."
