I hate the “this sets us back” idea or the “transphobes are going to use this against us” argument. As if transphobes have any reason, like they won’t just make shit up to feed their beliefs. This community is like a dog eating itself

People need to understand art isn’t perfect, like ACTUALLY understand it. Thats not to say you can’t critique or joke about it, but there is a point man.. and saying stuff like “this set us back” crosses it I think
