We are excited to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Jesse Gillis from University of Toronto! His lab focuses on characterizing the flow of information from cellular gene networks to whole organism phenotypes across species.

This year’s BiGSAT conference will be happening on Thursday April 16, 2026, at the Life Sciences Institute at UBC Vancouver campus. BiGSAT 2026 will feature keynote and faculty sessions, student talks, poster sessions, and more! Stay tuned for registration details in January!
