Disappointing afternoon for the lads. Couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net and denied by the woodwork on several occasions. Credit to Ellesmere Port who battled very well right to the end.

Conceded a last minute equaliser, but so many positives to take especially after last week. Much better performance & unfortunate to not come away with 3 points.

Today we entertain @ReservesPort which promises to be a great contest if the last 2 fixtures are anything to go by. If you're local, get yourself down to Marine Park and support the lads. 3pm ko. @wkfc1sts @WestKirbyFC @WestCheshireLge
RESULT - Neston 5-1 Port

Even game at HT, went in at 1-1. Second half a shambles & Neston were ruthless - they deserved the win.

2-0 up & cruising after 60, but fell to pieces in the last half hour. Fair play to Neston, their subs made a big difference with the fresh legs. Naive from us but positives to take.

No complaints from us, Aintree the better team today & deserved their win.
Gaffers MOTM was @Simo02Mike who is probably still running now.
Quick turnaround for Monday night against @HootonFc where we’ll look to bounce back.
