Prepare and be aware. Flooding can affect you. When flooding hit Edzell in 2012, the community suffered £1 million in damage and 44 homes were impacted. But they didn’t wait for it to happen again - they took action. By forming a Community Flood Group, working with SEPA and the Scottish Flood Forum, and using tools like the Scottish Flood Forecast and Floodline alerts, Edzell became stronger and more resilient.
