Bannon and the woke right are promoting a Dugin-style geopolitical pivot: align with Russia, discard Europe and the UK, and weaken or exit the Atlantic partnership that supports Western security.
He states it openly in this clip.
If you follow that logic, it leads to a US withdrawal from NATO and a Europe left to confront Russia on its own.
Also, Russia is not a devoutly Christian nation. The claim that it is has become a major propaganda line very recently, pushed heavily to shape perceptions in the West, especially in the US.

I am a decorated, career CIA officer. @joekent16jan19 was a decorated CIA officer and Spec ops operator. @GenFlynn benefitted from a fruitful military-CIA relationship and last I checked he knows a thing or two about DIA.
When men who have objectively been part of the machine call for change … Maybe folks should pay attention instead of trying to divine some political machinations.
The CIA is failing at its primary tasks and the new leadership decided to rely on the old leadership to conduct transformational change. At best, incompetence on parade.
Occam’s razor… Maybe it is time for another Church Committee.

According to The Telegraph, the Kremlin wants to force NATO to scale back its military presence in Europe to levels seen before Eastern European countries joined the Alliance.
This could mean demanding the withdrawal of NATO forces from Poland, the Baltic states, and Finland.
That is why Moscow is pushing for European countries to participate in negotiations over Ukraine. Diplomatic sources cited by The Telegraph say Putin wants to turn talks about ending the war into negotiations over the entire European security architecture.
The issue may also have been discussed during Putin's three-hour meeting with Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, in St. Petersburg.
However, European countries have previously rejected the Kremlin's demands to reduce NATO's military presence on its eastern flank.
